Can't select a team

Hey guys, i havent been playing FM in almost 3-4 months, and its cause i can't get any further than the manager profile where i select my name and so on, when i press - Select the team you would manage, it just crash... i tried everything what to do?

start with the club of your heart man, the club you support. that's how i always start an fm game when i first have him, always my first save. i easily do 4 seasons

Did you even read what he said? He said it crashes as soon as he chooses a team...not that he is having trouble picking a team
