How to stop City?

Help, title says all, need different tactics to help, good players that stop them passing ect. Thanks

when i play against city i normally play 2 CDMS to stop their usual trio of attacking midfielders from passing me of the park i also use exploit the flanks on the in game commands

there is no special way to beat City. it may just come down to luck on the day.
but as i always say attack is the best form of defence because if your constantly at them they have no time to attack you,
try playing a short passing slow build up game and try dominate possesion

Actually when playing City I often use the 4-5-1 (defensive midfielder) or the plain 4-4-2 depending on the players I have and whether or not I'm in a good winning streak. Try to force the game into the wings as City often use the 4-2-3-1 fomation, 2 central midfielders and 3 attacking midfielders. Whether crossing the ball into the box or instructing your players to dribble it into is up to you, depending which one is more likely to work.

I usually play a 4-5-1 on the counter, works wonders for me

4-5-1 counter with anchor and two cm , one dlp , one bwm support, 2 matches away with them , 2 victories , 4-1 in prem league , 3-2 in carling cup ! GL!

I never changed my tactics , always the same
because tactics never changes

the only make you lose is OI to your team and your player morale

when play against bigger team , i always mark their playmaker , and make my DM and CM harder at tackling
