Poll: Newbie here looking for tactical advice!

Hi all, I am new on this site but have played fm since I can remember. I am struggling at the moment on fm12 with finding a playing style that works. I am Arsenal in the first season and am using fluid,attacking/counter depending on match venue,shorter passing with slower tempo,press more and zonal marking. I really struggle to get a string of results together, get destroyed away from home or against big teams and struggle to beat the smaller teams! How does everyone else play, short or direct? slow or quick? Help please!

Thanks mate was just wondering the playing styles that people find works best I have a formation I like to use.

when i'm managing big clubs ( tittle challenger ) i use Rigid philosophy , my team will be keep the possessions , and with good CB and rigid style , it will reduce errors from my defense

when i'm managing mediocre ( mid finish / avoid relegation ) i use fluid , counter and direct passing

I am a type of 'managers' who create tactics base the current squad and will buy players if necessary , not create the tactics and will fit them in the teams
