Penalty facepalm

So i'm Manchester United, everything is going great etc etc. Playing Wigan in the FA cup semi final, ahead 3-0, 2 goals by papadopoulos on header from corner kicks. Now some defender from Wigan gets this brilliant idea to give me a penalty, i have 2 of my assigned penalty takers on the field, but who steps up to take the penalty? Ohhh yes he did, ofc freaking papadopoulos who has 6 in penalty taking. First I was: "wtf?", then ofc he misses. 2 mins later in the game ANOTHER penalty, same fucking thing happens, papadopoulos steps up for some absurd reason and misses again. This time i'm more like this:

Anyone tried something similar? Or can tell me why the heck someone who is not assigned to take penalties, who has low stats for penalty taking, goes to the spot like that? I know he had a chance for a hatrick, but still... That is just a waste...

Na I know what you mean it's the most frustrating things in the world. It's something you can't change unfortunately and for the life of me I don't know why. It's very stupid, if you were to be drawing 2-2 in the Champions League Final with your centre back scoring both and then won a penalty in the 90th minute, he would step up and take it.

Nope i didn't, and i checked the penalty list after he missed the 2nd one. He was NOT on the list, he just really wanted to miss 2 penalties apparently....

And yes its very frustrating loosing 2 goals. Now it's the FA cup and i won anyway, so not like it matters. Had it been premier league i would really have been bummed about not getting the goals for top scorer list, and CL final sounds even worse xD Can it really happen when the game is at stake? IRL i would imagen the coach or the players for that matter would say NO, not gonna happen mate.

Yeah it's happened to me, if a player is on two goals then they'll take the penalties until they get their hattrick.
