In a Shock return to football out of the blue Debt Ridden Portsmouth Fc has hired Ex Manchester United Goal Keeper Peter Schmeichel. Schmeichel has said he was thinking about getting back into the game and then Portsmouth came along and offered me the job as manager I had to think about it as I know that Portsmouth are going true a really bad time at the moment and it will be a big step for me going into management with a club that is in so much debt.
In terms of a contract I have being giving a deal until June 2012 on $100 Per Week I no its not much for such a big challenge but it will show me what I can do as a manager. I showed what I could do as a player enjoying my best time with Manchester United and Alex Ferguson thought me a few things while I was there so management was always something I wanted to do was just waiting for the right job to come along with a challenge and this is the job for me.
In my first season as manager I have to avoid relegation and also have 10 points deducted so it’s a big asked but I am sure I can do it with no money for players and players wanting to leave I will try my best turn the club around.
