Introduction - The Challenge


Hello and welcome to my Football Manager career. I have decided to start as an unemployed, ex Sunday league footballer and see if I can work my up to some sort of reputable status within management.

I will apply for all available club jobs but will not unsettle any current manager and apply for a role that is insecure. Once I have earned a good reputation and hopefully been successful, I will load another country into the database and move around europe.

The current country loaded is England.

January 2012



After five months of being unemployed, applying for jobs at everyone from Tottenham Hotspur to MK Dons, someone has finally given me an opportunity to make a name for myself.



Gillingham offered me a two year contract and I wasn't prepared to sit around and wait any longer. There is very little in terms of a transfer budget but this is League Two and we'll see what we can do.

Finances




As expected, the finances are not looking good. Hopefully we can do something to change how things are in this department.

N-Power League 2






As things stand it's all about avoiding a relegation battle. The squad has a few excellent players and a couple of good youth prospects. Hopefully we can turn things around and push on up the league.

Transfer Update




We were in need of some players so we had to act fast. Theo Angus (LB) is the stand out player from this bunch. The other positions were a RB, DM, AML and an AMR. With the transfer window closing soon we do not need to do any further business.
