Rare, Funny, & Unusual Moments in FM

Hi fellow FM addicts,

I'd been playing this game since 2002, first one with Championship Manager 3 or CM3 as it called back then, since that I'd never missed to play any version of this game. Finally after 10 years great adventures, I encourage myself to share some of the moments from the game itself. Yeah after a decade playing it this is my very first post and I hope it won't be the last one.

It contain some rare & funny moments from FM10, FM11, & FM12. Hope you guys enjoy it and don't hesitate to share your FM moments too, cheers!

I once had a save with Cadiz.

In real life it was April the 1st and on the game it was also April the 1st...

I received a message form the board offering me 500m to spend on transfers...

I accepted the offer...

Only to receive a reply telling me it was an April fool!!!

Gutted!

Heh, yes I'd put the successful ban appeal rather high up, I've never seen one. I don't make many, for that reason, but absolutely never ever had one work.

thanks mate! umm to capture the screen being displayed in monitor, you could use 'print screen' button and paste it to 'paint' then you can save it as a file. I hope this is what you're looking for.

I took over Maritzburg United in April (league ends in May). The club is 14th but for some reason the bookies are tipping US to win the league.


Seems like a perfect question to ask in a press conference. However, Jelle Vossen was NOT the player sent off.


Camara is 20 years old. In the game its 2013, so he must have been born around 1993. But he is so good, he actually managed to win the African Footballer of the Year in 1977.


Not really funny in the game. However in real life, Jomo Sono has owned Cosmos since 1983 and has managed them since 1993.

It still makes no sense. The agent, Ibrahim Camara, was born in 1970. Couldn't have won the award as a 7 year old.
