Thought I might post things that happened in this save on this site and people would be able to give me help and may find it interesting themselves. My first season was quite successful in my opinion. I finished 6th in the premier league with 66 points. I also won both the FA cup and the league cup. Many of the players played well, Sinclair Sigurdsson and Caulker were brilliant. I will post at the end of every month in game the results and relevant information. Thanks

Thanks and I've tried to get him offering up to 16 million but they just keep rejecting so having to look for other players. Im currently in August and going to post what signings I made in a minute

How is he in FM12? I can't be bothered to scout him...
Is he as great as they hype him up in real life? My formations don't use attacking midfielder role much and even so I normally use Steven Gerrard or Suso.

Not much happened in this month except for signings. I played 1 friendly against Shamrock rovers which I won 3-1 but should have been by a lot more. So here are the major transfers

Romário 3.5M Bought him because didnt feel Rangel was that good and needed another RB
Moisés free Signed him because he has 4.5 star potential
Cardozo 6M Bought him because needed a real goal threat and needed another ST
Román free Signed him because he has 3.5 star potential
Vertonghen 5M Bought him because Caulker loan ended and needed a solid CB
De Bruyne loan Signed him to be a squad player and impact sub
OUT:
Bodde 100k Sold him because he wasn't good enough
Guti Free Didn't renew contract because his stats were decreasing fast
Lita 250k Wanted to leave and never played well for me. Wanted more for him but no one would offer
Monk Loan Too old and injury prone. They have the choice to buy him for 500k
Dobbie 725k Wasnt good enough wanted first team football
They're all the major signings so far. Have 10 million transfer budget and 100k wages free. Need a AMC to replace Sigurdsson and can dictate the play and make key passes etc for in the budget. Anyone ever used De Bruyne before aswell could he play there?

He was really good, Setup loads of goals but also scored them. Has really good set piece stats too. Can play in central midfield well too

How in the world did you get Vertonghen? Heard of all your signings except Roman and Cardozo, and they all look like quality buys. Moises was quality in my game, said the coaches, but I didn't play him much because he faced stiff competition from Eden Hazard and Tom Cleverley, and he was still a youngster. I loaned him out to lower league clubs in Spain regularly and from one way or another his potential start to drop. Strange. Eventually sold him off to a mid-table La Liga club.

Was v.disappointed with both the Man Utd and Blackburn game. The Utd game we were still blending as a squad and they did score 2 goals in extra time. The Blackburn game we had 2 goals dis allowed one that was offside and one was a fould that wasnt a foul in my eyes but we were very unlucky through out the game.
Was drawn in the EURO cup group stages with BATE, Wolfsburg, CSKA Moscow. Not the easiest group but hopefully we can get through to the latter stages.
Really need help with my tactics. I've tried a couple of well known tactics sich as the grid tactic and the Giant killer but none of them are working at all. Need a tactic with at least 2 up front any help please? Thanks in advance

I wanted Sigurdsson as well on a permanent deal and they wanted 18m plus vorm i said no later on he got offered a new contract then i put a 6m bid in and the accepted it. but the way i play now i dont really need him :S
