AFC, bringing back silverware

I am a lifelong Arsenal fan and my other stories (which are on fmscout) have hindered me from posting an Arsenal story, people think that stories with the big clubs are boring but Arsenal have not been a 'big' club in terms of challenging for silverware for a while now and I am going to change that.

The board have appointed young manager LOUIS ROSS to take the helm after Arsene Wenger resigned after his trophyless seasons had put too much pressure on him to succeed, Ross who was a youth coach there was in constant touch with Wenger throughout his reign talking tactics etc. and Wenger suggested to the Arsenal board that Ross has the same philosophy as himself, but he has the passion that Wenger himself was lacking.

Ross takes charge promising to win the Premiership. He is given 57m transfer budget and 1.4m budget for wages.

Any help you want to give regarding transfers or tactics then feel free !!!

i actually beleive managing big teams is hareder than little teams as tehre is alot more pressure to succeed.. good luck with your story

My main areas I need to improve are
Defence ( CB and a LB too as Gibbs is never good enough)
Attack - I am looking to sell Chamakh and need back up for RVP
Midfield - Out wide we lack a skillful winger in my opinion, Gervinho and Walcott are direct but I need a tricky winger I think.

I am sending scouts to look at Leandro Damaio, Shinki Kagawa, Riccardo Montolivo and Rondon of Malaga

try looking at spanish duo Mikel san jose and javi martinez .

I have offered contracts to Erikksen from Ajax, Muniain of Athletic, Nelson Oliveira of Benfica and Fierro of Chivas, whilst I have turned my attention to defensive midfield options of Jali from Palermo, Montolivo and Asamoah of Udinese.

Negotiations over a price for Leandro Damiao are ongoing and Leighton Baines looks like he will sign too. I am keen on Mussachio from Villareal with 4 star potential and a price tag of 10m he looks like he could be brilliant.

Try and get Maxym Koval, probably one of the to be best goalies in FM, 'Leading English premier league goalkeeper in the future' all my scouts rated him, He's from Dynamo Kyiv, got him on my Wolves save for 10M.

I'm happy with Szcesny at the moment mate, but I will need back up when i decide to sell Almunia / Fabiansky so will try to get him, funds are running low at the moment after signing:

Only once have I seen him on FM and that is with my Palermo team on a different save, he was from Lazio not Palermo as I said previously... he cost £375k and will definitely add some steel to the midfield.

Great pre-season so far, the boys aren't reacting to my team-talks at the moment though... bit worrying

What are you saying to them?

In the low leagues, you just praise them = winning, calm = drawing/losing, aggressive = losing badly.

In the higher leagues, it seems that they like calm talks most of the time if i remember correctly, they are definately different then the lower league talks though.

yeah i'm just doing what I normally do which is always fine! maybe they'll come around soon!
