Ferguson In Shock Retirement

It was announced today at a press conference involving David Gill and Sir Alex Ferguson, that the Scottish wonder was going to retire. After saying he simply, can't keep up with the work required, Alex decided it was time to throw away his chewing gum and let someone else take the Red Devils to a new level.

There are currently 3 managers in the running for the job according to the media: Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola and Harry Redknapp. However, Sir Alex Ferguson suggested unknown manager Kane Brooker as a manager who should be put into contention for the new managerial position. It is thought that (although is not official) the board of the Manchester club will take his advice, and risk the club's success all on this unknown personnel.

Ferguson has recently signed Nick Powell from Crewe and Shinji Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund before his departure, although it is thought that more players will be signed, whoever the new manager is.

Red Devils New Manager Announced

And it is... KANE BROOKER

David Gill and the rest of the board at the club decided to take the risk that Sir Alex Ferguson suggested, brining in unkown manager Kane Brooker. Kane, who has only previously played at a Sunday-league level, has no known connections to the former manager, so it is unknown how Ferguson knew of Kane, and his ability to manage. However, some reports suggest that Kane is a keen Football Manager player, and it is possible that Sir Alex Ferguson has read of his success on fmscout and other websites.

Season Objectives Announced

It has been announced that Kane Brooker has been predicted a 2nd place finish in the Premier League by BBC Sport this year, with the board of the club wanting Manchester United to challenge for the league trophy.

In order for Kane to achieve this in his first season, he has been given a £18.5 million transfer budget alongside a £1.8 million wage budget.
