After the fantastic win vs River Plate,D.Y.J enjoyed an easy encounter in Dean Byrne's first cup game of the season. They will be looking forward to progressing further as they enter the draw for the last 32.




Defensa Y Justicia 0-1 Sp.Desamparados
D.Y.J lost some ground on SP.Desamparados who were one place ahead of them in the table. It was a cagey affair but an Early goal was enough to stop Byrne's men good run of form.




With The season now halfway through,A small break began which allows club to do some wheeling and dealing.With a tight wage budget,Dean made the best of his available cash with 4 new signings. He signed an expierenced Striker,An Attacking Midfielder and two Defensive midfielders.He decided to try a new formation as it seemed the 4-4-2 was to familiar and other teams found it easier to prepare against it.4-5-1 was the new formation of choice and the new signings fit in perfectly to the system.Hopefully It will provide some more good results.
