It was a great afternoon as we beat bitter rivals Manchester United 3-1 at Old Trafford. Steven Gerrard scored the opening goal and two goals from Luis Suarez handed us the three points with Danny Welbeck scoring the only goal for United and Nani missing a penalty.

Craig Gordon is a brilliant signing, Glenners. On my Man U save, I've actually played him in games against Real Madrid and Barcelona because his form was better than de Gea and he got an 8.0 rating.

All the best for your new campaign!

The boys found it easier to play at Anfield, as Liverpool dominated Videoton 6-1. Either getting them to work harder on their finishing worked, or the fans and supporters' cheering just spurred them on.

A rather easy Europa League group draw I would say.
i recently jsut had gladbach in my group in Europa and they provided a very tough test. AZ are also a strong side dont go underestimating your opponents
We completely demolished QPR 8-1, with just 18 shots and 11 on target. Seems like the finishing training did work! Borini got his first hat trick & first league goals for the club, and I wasted no time in congratulating him after the match. Truly a magnificent performance from a magnificent player.

Only when I read the newspaper this morning did I find out that eight of my players had been named in the Team of the Week, and rightfully so!
Suso has rejected the chance to go on loan to Italy. There are a number of Serie B clubs chasing him as I have offered him for loan. After we had a talk about it where he expressed his desire to stay at Liverpool, I agreed not to send him on loan, although this would mean he got less playing time.
If you have a feeder club with a decently high reputation, send him there. I have FC Twente as my feeder club, and I regularly send players there ... they even feature in the CL once in a while.
The summer transfer window has come to an end, and although I didn't sign any players except Craig Gordon, I think the fans are quite satisfied with the number of signings that have been made before my arrival.

Mr. Werner sent me this e-mail.

Jotting down the transfers I made
August
It has been a fruitful month and our form is great, hopefully it continues for a long time.

Where we stand in the Premier League as of now.

Craig Bellamy's stunner in the 8-1 demolition of QPR has won the August Goal of the Month while Fabio Borini and Martin Kelly has been named as 2nd and 3rd respectively to Chelsea's Eden Hazard for the August Young Player of the Month award.
We drew 1-1 with newly-promoted Reading, a match we really should have won. Martin Kelly got himself injured during the match and my physio Andy Renshaw reports that he's suffered a torn calf muscle, which could keep him out for 3 to 4 months, unfortunately.

Reading 1 - 1 Liverpool

We won rather easily against AZ Alkmaar and clinched our first three Europa League points, but suffered our first defeat of the season and my first defeat as manager against Newcastle in our next match.

Liverpool 2 - 0 AZ

We advanced to the Fourth Round of the Capital One Cup as we beat Huddersfield 2-0 in the Third Round rather easily.

Great story so far mate, but could you post a screen shot of the tactics you are using?
