Borussia Dortmund Squad Building Project

Ok so this is my first career.So please forgive me for any poor signings,sales or just generally bad results,And the structure of this thread I'll try my best

Dortmundsd has no depth,so it was going to make playing in all competitions competitively a challenge.Also because of the low transfer budget of just over £3million I was aiming to sell numbers, to replace with quality.Over the course of 2-3 seasons I am aiming to rebuild the squad into a top side.Thisn I was aiming for maybe a cup run, and in the league 4th or 5th minimum.As for thes league,I'll just go as far as I can, not expecting to win it or anything.

Ok so the first transfer window has passed and I have to say it has been disappointing.I was hoping to sign a defender,right midfielder and another striker.

jakub blaszczykowski - man city - 7.5 million - this was an offer I couldn't really refuse
Kevin Großkreutz. - arsenal. - 6.75 million - again I couldn't refuse
Felipe Santana. - as Monaco. - 3.2 million - he wasn't really in my plans,and a good price for him too
Florian kringe. - as Monaco. - 875k. - wasn't in my plans at all

Ok so here comes the disappointing part...

Mattiheu Debuchy - LOSC Lille - 11.75 million - slightly more than I wanted to pay,but after his euro2012 performance I payed it

Ok so that's it, I know one player, i was hoping to bring in more than that

Ok so here are my pre-season results

Dortmund 2 - 1 Wehen (lewandowski 85', Leitmer 90', Hjelm 69') - overall an average performance, showed good character to come back

Duisburg 0 - 0 Dortmund - I rested lewandowski,Gotze and kagawa for this one,gave debuchy his debut,still slightly dissapointing

Celtic 1 - 3 Dortmund (lewandowski 36',68' ,leitner 48' ,hooper 45') a pleasing performance however small injuries to Gotze and hummels that will keep them out of the next game

Current league position : 7th

Mixed bunch of results there,lewandowski extremely dissapointing,was relying on him for goals thisn,however barrios has forced himself into the firstm with a 4-1-2-1-2 formation
On the brighter note Debuchy has played really well,worth the 11million definitely!

If we can get ar in goodl scoring form then the results will improve hopefully!

As for the Champions league,were in group f witha,Ajax and tranbozor so it's not looking too bright, I'm also planning on playing a weakened team,due to the lack of depth,I'll update you when the group stage is over

look for youngsters with that budget!

Good To see a story outside of england and BVB are a good team with a decent amount of wonderkids.they just need a lit bit of experience in the squad.
P.S:Use photos,maybe a league table from time to time stuff like that

too expensive for Mathieu Debuchy , but decent transfer policy . Try to sign S. Bell , the CB , he is amazing
