I am going to do the pentagon challenge. The challenge is to set your past playing experience to sunday league - begin unemployed. And win. Win all the champions leagues. Each continent has one.
The way this will work is the important games will be in-depth, the others wont.

So:

My first Job

That's right - the unknown manager has been appointed to none other then Athletic Club. They have qualified for the EURO cup, and although it would not complete one of my steps (if I won) my reputation would rocket up.

My first Game - wait, what!?!?! It's a Derby

Athletic vs Racing
Predicted to be a tight affair, it was not. Fernando Llorente put Athletic ahead with a complete poachers strike - the ball came in he bolted past a defender and nabbed it past the Keeper.
Shortly after however the party was ruined by a good strike from the Racing attacker
Llorente produced another moment of magic shortly after the break. With a thunderous 30 yard screamer.
It was that man Llorente again as he scored a goal in the dying moments to secure his hat-trick.

APOEL v Athletic
It was simple - if we won we were through the group stage of the EURO Cup. If we lost - we were out. Llorente got his second goal in 85th minute to make it 2-1. We were through!
What leagues did you load in? Because starting at a team like Athletic Club is not normal for that reputation.
I loaded:
Argentina: Premier Division, Second Division
Brazil: First Division, Second Division
China: Super League, Premier Division
England: blue square n/s, blue square premier, league 2, League 1, Championship, Premier League
Spain: LA Liga
Germany: Bundesliga
South Africa:
USA: M.L.S

It was late on and I only really applied for good teams - top league

UNBEATEN!

Athletic v Zaragoza
Llorente is ever-present for my side, another 2 goals for him!

Valencia v Athletic
Away for the first leg - draw would be great. But we won!!! 2-0

Athletic v Valencia
At home, 2nd leg, two goal advantage - what could go wrong? Nothing apparently. 3-1

Getafe v Athletic
Munian is slowly getting better and better, 2 goals for him, another for Llorente and one goal from the other teams defender. 4-1

Athletic v Betis
Quater final 1st leg, we need to perform at betis. 2-1 score which means we only have a one goal advantage and they have an away goal. i like to stay positive but ...

Levante v Athletic
Yes we won. But we had to rely on a last minute goal from Llorente to secure, I am beginning to detect wobbles.
No way have you started unemployed sunday league rep and gotten the Athletico Bilbao job!

Not buying that at all!
I DID!!!!!
WHY WOULD I LIE! DO YOU THINK I AM SO SAD THAT I WOULD LIE SIMPLY TO MAKE MYSELF SEEM THE BEST!
I JUST WANT TO TEST MYSELF AND IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME THEN DO NOT READ MY STORY! IF NO-ONE BELIEVES ME EVERYONE ELSE JUST COMMENT I WILL STOP WRITING LEAVE THE SITE AND JUST PLAY THE GAME! DON'T BE SHY, I WANT TO SPEND MY TIME WRITING BECAUSE I WANT PEOPLE TO ENJOY! IF PEOPLE DON'T BELIEVE ME AND JUST LAUGH AT ME! THEN WHAT IS THE POINT! PLEASE JUST TAKE A CHANCE AND BELIEVE ME. I GOT REJECTED FROM VASCO!!! VASCO! EVEN I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I GOT THE ATHLETIC JOB. BUT THATS FOOTBALL!
Hey, just to let you know I read this. You've got a great start, winning almost all your matches. :)

Ok, now, some tips for your posts...try to use a little bit of colour or some other form of formatting.

For example, you can make your score-lines red bold or maybe in slightly bigger size?

Right now, it feels like a chore to read through everything. :)

All the best and hope you win the CL soon. It's always a challenge, I reckon when you start with the UCL, although I suppose once you build a reputation here, you'll be able to get a job at a top club sometime soon.

Request from people

Tactic: 4-1-2-3 formation based on slow tempo but loads of chances. Like the Grid but with a few changes. I used the authors thought pattern to create my own tactic.

Transfers: in: natxo monreal
out: Inigo Perez(free) Iban Zubiaurre(free) Xabi Castillo(free)
they were all unhappy and bringing down the squad.

Aims: 1st year: win a competition
2nd year: win a continental
3rd year: go to a better club and win more
So Gurdit like this

Betis v Athletic
Didn't deserve it. Had chances but couldn't put them away. 1-0
Real Madrid v Athletic
Sure we lost, but we played well and we play them at home soon so hopefully we will take something from that 2-0

Rayo v Athletic
Winning from start to... 87th minute when an own goal cancelled out Llorente's strike1-1

Espanyol v Athletic
A few tactical tweaks proved great for Athletic with a great win. Best of all Llorente got 4 goals!!! 4-0

Athletic v Real Madrid
YES! Athletic have done it. They have beaten the league leaders! It was a level game until Herrera got a free-kick on the edge of the box. It was a sensational strike, he smashed the ball which sailed through the air, rattled the underside of the bar, and then it was in. Just to add insult to injury Iturraspe tapped in a sitter in the dying moments. This is the start of what I want - I want our home-ground to be an impenetrable fortress. THAT is what would win trophies regardless of the club 2-0
That little tweak with the colours works very well :)

Great result against Real Madrid. What was the tweak to your tactic? It certainly seems to have worked!
I just told my team to be a bit less rigid, stand off a bit more and be a bit less creative. The reason I told them to be bit less creative was because the amount of offside goals we were scoring was ridiculous!

On our Way

Betis v Athletic
Betis prove to be the sour grape for my side. They scored in the 85th minute, however we relied on an own goal to get something so it was fairly even. 1-1

Athletic v Fulham
This puts us in pole position for the second leg at Craven Cottage (Fulham's ground). There was only 15 minutes left when I told my team "all out attack" and we scored. 2. 2-0

Malaga v Athletic
Stunning. Simply sensational. We were at home yes but still this was great! 6-0

Fulham v Athletic
So we lost. But I'm still happy as technically we won. 4-3
On Aggregate 5-4

DERBY!!!!

Villareal v Athletic
We were 1-0 up at the break. Then we came out and were rocked by an amazing side, unfortunately we could not sustain the lead and lost. 2-1

Real Sociedad v Athletic
The derby of this post. Well in case you don't know - Athletic are only allowed to sign Basque players and although it limits me in players, most are home-grown - so they are motivated in derbies. One of Iker Munian's goals actually won goal of the week - he skinned two players before burying it in the near post corner. 4-0

Beskitas v Athletic
I thought this would be an easy game, and although we won, they scored two which means we have to play very well away from home. Llorente got 4 GOALS!!! 4-2

Osasuna v Athletic
This was a frustrating match - we were winning, then drawing, then losing. Fortunately my players pulled through in the end and won. 4-3
#64026 Gurdit : That little tweak with the colours works very well :)

Great result against . What was the tweak to your tactic? It certainly seems to have worked!

you crazy? he lost two nil.

plus if you're using Grid just say, may as well be honest. Plus neither do I believe they gave you the Athletic job but not Vasco. Smells like cowpoop
