Thomas Mitchell, former England legend has decided to join Blyth Spartans as the new manager . The former Huddersfield, Wednesday and Newcastle favourite who made 126 international apps and 334 apps in league football left Newcastle in 2005 after a back injury ended his career. The life-time Huddersfield Town fan was voted the greatest player to never win a footballing competition. Mitchell released a statement saying
"I can't wait to be back in football, no matter where it is and Blyth Spartans is a great place to start"
