You have to know whether to start someone ahead or behind him, my personal recommendation is Sime Vrsaljko or Romario, they are both very young so if you want someone older Van der Wiel or stick with Smalling
Sime Vrsaljko is a great opotion at RB, go with him
I got Kyle Walker in and Rafael played backup, but by the second season had to rotate between the two of them, both are young and quality.
I got Gokhan Gonul ... has a bit of experience and can play first-team in the first season. But after a couple of seasons, his performances dropped. I'm bringing in Mauricio Isla to replace him. Rafael will be first choice, Isla will be rotation/backup.
dont get sime vrsjalko or romario. sick of seeing stories with these 2 players in them. use your scouts because thats what theey are there for

It depends who you are REALLY looking for. Are you looking for someone young who will be seen as a back up to Raf, or someone young who will be seen as starting ahead of him? It all depends what you are looking for really. Maybe you are looking for someone who is more older and more experienced to help you when you are in Europe?
