AC Milan Help

Hey this is my first post and it may sound crazy..... I have a bunch of stars, so give me a formation maybe...
I'm into the second season with AC Milan..won the Serie A...but lost the quarter-finals and semi-finals of Italian cup and euro Cup to Inter and Barca respectively..I played a narrow Diamond with wingbacks. The problem was I felt hard playing against fast counter-attacking teams and fast top league teams. Here is the team i played with last year.

I have $35 Million left. Nesta retired. Heinze replaced him(Free Transfer). I have got $15 Million offer for nocerino. Should I sell him? And Which players should I buy? Here are few of my stars. Please give me some new tactics and recommend any new signings I should make.

I'm not very used to deviating from my normal tactics, because I find it very hard to play stuff like 3 at the back or whatever.

My advice is do a massive overhaul and buy players for a formation you are more comfortable.
Sell Nocerino depending on whether or not he fits into your plans.

If you still want to play narrow, with just full-backs or wing-backs you will definitely get countered on wings as they have to each play 2 roles.
I'm not sure if it will work but maybe have 2 DMs with wide-play as stick to the flanks on player instructions? Maybe they will close down on wingers and give your wing-backs freedom to attack? Give it a try and see what happens.

Or else go with a formation with with 4 wide players like a 4-3-3,4-2-3-1, 4-4-2, 4-2-4 etc.
