What do players have to do really to get nominated for european player of the year? I'm currently playing a game with man united and have just completed the 2015/16 season. Javier Hernandez has completed the season with 60 goals in all competitions and an average rating of 7.97 and he still wasn't even mentioned for the award?
Umm, first thoughts after this, what came to my mind, is that Javier Hernandez is Mexican, which is not part of Europe, but Messi was nominated, he is Argentinian, which is not European, but maybe because Messi has Spanish citizenship? I am not really sure, maybe the game didn't think he was good enough? Although he scored 60 goals, not very realistic, I got no idea.
