what player roles r best if you play 2 strikers
When it comes to strikers, there isn't really a preferred role combination that works. It is mostly dependent on the players themselves, but as in real life, I would assume Poacher (small, fast striker) and Target Man (tall, good header) should work well. But more often than not, it is better if you play the attackers in their desired roles. For example, Jermain Defoe is a good Poacher, while Rooney is a Target Man. You can try playing Rooney as a Poacher, but his strength is a lot better than his pace, and will do better in his natural role.
Akash has made a very good point there but what I found to work is having one striker playing off of another. In other words, a Poacher playing off of a Trequartista or a Deep Lying Forward. I have found this to be very effective in LLM with Jamil Adam and Pablo Counago.
Yeah, it's basically a creative/selfish combo. If you play on the floor, then Trequartista and Poacher/Advanced Forward (they are very similar) works, long balls a Target Man and P/AF, and a mix needs a CF and P/AF
The combination of a poacher or advanced forward with a Deep Lying Forward works fine for me.
I had play 5 season with Benfica, initially I have Saviola (poacher) and Oscar Cardozo (Deep Lying Forward).
Now I have Carlos Fierro as poacher playing with Oscar Cardozo, due Saviola retirement.
Oscar Cardozo creates many chances for Carlos Fierro and Saviola. On long passes Cardozo holds the ball and feeds the poacher and that results in many goals.
