After a uneventful preseason the games are about to start. On a lighter note not much transfer movement has happened. I haven't been able to get rid of Nunez. Only two players joined.

Nathan Baker joined on Loan from Aston Villa
Dave Kitson joined for free

I was able to sell Davide Somma to Atalanta.

MATCH RESULTS - AUGUST
1. Home vs Forest 2-0
Luke Varney and Rodolpho Austin on the mark

2. League CuP 1st Round Against Scunthorpe 5-2
A Luciano Becchio hatrick did the damage

3. Away to Burnley 0-0
A sour draw, with little for inspiration.

4. Home to Blackburn Rovers 3-1
Blackburn leading at halftime, subbed Becchio for Kitson. Three second half goals ensured victory with Kitson himself scoring one and setting up another. i guess the substitution was inspiring. LOL

MORE TO FOLLOW[
Its the end of August, with the transfer window shut, we played 2 more league games and 1 league cup game.

5. Away to Millwall 2-0
It's Becchio and Rodolph Austin again.

6. League Cup 2nd Round - Away to Norwich 2-0
the goal scorer was guess who? Ramon Nunez (apparently he can find the back of the net contrary to the word around.

7. the last game of August
Home to Barnsley 3-0
Becchio with a brace and McCormack getting a late goal.

So end of August Leeds United is at the Top of the Championship with 13 points from 5 games.

good result you've got here. keep up the good work!
If August was the month of winning then September has become the month for complacency amongst the strikers

we got off to a great start in September

8. Away to Crystal Palace 5:1
Becchio and Austin grabbing a pair

9. Away to Ipswich 0:1
First loss of the season came away to Ipswich, in a match we dominated in every way except for the score.

10. League Cup 3rd round
Home to Sunderland 0:1
followed by the first loss of the season came in the second loss of the season, a rather morale beating game at home which our side just could not answer to an early Sunderland goal.

11. Home to Peterborough 0:0
another game our strikers drew a blank

12. Away to Middlesborough 0:1
This will make four games in a row which Becchio and co has failed to find the net. in the 88th minute Becchio missed an abosolute sitter.

so lets hope OCTOBER brings our strikers their goals
Loving it as a leeds fan :)
Hi Guys

Its been a while

The first season is now into February 2013, with 31 games played Leeds United is 3rd with 56 points.

League leaders are Wolves with 69 points and Blackpool 2nd with 57 points.

So promotion automatic promotion is still on. If not we will have to settle for promotion through the play off.

Tactically i started out with just one striker, but now with a 4-4-2 we seem to have a more balanced harmonious squad. not counting the cries of reserve keeper Rachbuka.

so wish me luck

so we are back in Big Time
it was an uphill task to get United back in to the premier League in one shot
Great work to get promoted; keep it up! Good luck in the PL.
SEASON 2

here is the transfers we made

With the First game of our new season about to begin. our first match is against Man City. we have changed our tactics, to a more counter attacking game. but still we field two strikers.

the first match back in the Premier League goes much better than anticipated. Becchio coming off the bench and scoring two goals

After 12 games this is how table looks

With 24 games played and safe from relegation think its about time to dream of bigger things. dont you all think?

So the end of Season 2 is upon us. i guess Leeds United is indeed back where they belong. dont you think?

but i feel sad for Aston Villa.
Now in Season 4

have managed to finish back to back in the fourth position.

First game is against Man City
Kevin Grosskreutz gets two for Leeds and Dzeko gets one for Man City

LEEDS 2 MANCITY 1
