Problem with wages for a loan

I'm attempting to loan in M.Balotelli in the second season of my liverpool save as he is currently listed for mc. they want me to pay 50% of his wages and i tried 40 (50 was'nt available due to insufficient funds) and got rejected then adjusted my transfer budget so i could pay 50%. upon submitting a new offer 50% still isn't available, even when i have the required funds. not sure if this is a bug or that i've missed something but i'd like some help as there's only a couple days left for tranfers.

I'm really not sure whether I am right, but as far as I know, your club has a certain wage limit on loans. Even if you had another 10k in wages left, you would still not be able to give more than 40% because it would be above that limit.

Yeah you're probably right. There was a side note saying the board would allow me to make it 50%, so i'd probably have to ask them maybe? Then again I looked at loaning another player in and it allowed me to take on 100% of his wages..

I don't think there's a separate wage limit on loans.
Adjusting the budget and re-negotiating always works for me.
