Injured player complaining about being subbed

I'm currently managing Portimonense and in my last game I subbed a player (Kelvin Etuhu) after about 20 minutes due to an injury. I now have the player complaining about the substitution.

I would understand such a complaint if I subbed him for no reason, but he had a twisted ankle and is now out for 5 weeks. What was I supposed to have done? I can't leave an injured player on the pitch, he had to come off.

Talking to the player hasn't helped and in fact the player now even refuses to talk to me.

Anyone with a similar situation?

Hi mate, I had problem like this with a player who got long term injury & when about to regain full recovery he complained about not being played as a regular, but I notice it happened only at that time when I was still playing with the non updated patch
