Is it possible to connect to Hamachi and play online gaming via Iphones personal hotspot internet connection?

I used a dongle with no problem for the last year to connect to Hamachi to play online with friends. Now im using my iphone as connection via personal hotspot I cant connect to friends servers and they cant connect to mine. Has anybody found a way around this?
