I was wondering, do FM organise an online fantasy football league where you have set fixtures each week (e.g. every monday evening) against other players in your league where you play football manager games against each other and the winner takes 3 points?

If not then I think they should set one up. It'd get people to buy the game each year, and they could charge a annual sign up fee for it. Then if you do well/bad you can win promotion or get relegated to the higher/lower leagues, with prize money for getting promoted etc It'd pretty much mirror real life football, with an FA and carling cup, and with the top players from the top league going on to play the top players from other countries in a champions league.

It'd start with a certain budget (similar to the sun's dreamteam game) that would require a mix of lower league players and a few top players, having to budget for wages too. then each season depending on how you've done you'd have an improved/reduced budget for next year to make signings, and you can always sell off players to other managers to raise funds if a players value has risen by the next season etc.

It'd be the perfect way to get as close to being a real manager as we could get. with all the tactical decisions you'd have to make mid game and for the future. For example you'd have to chose between going for proven players who would eat up most of your budget or investing in kids hoping that in a season or two they'll be worth more and you'll have a team of superstars that can win you the league.

So do they do anything like this? would you be interested if they did?
