La Liga 08/09

La liga starts soon as well. a bit later than most. But it starts. =D

every1 keeps saying how much better and more entertaining the premier league is, but did they ever see any of atletico madrid's matches? 4-3 against barca? and the madrid derby was unbelievable...
english teams focus too much on defending and counter attacking (Liverpool? Stoke? etc) :dozingoff
la liga is more free flowing.
i guess its just a matter of opinion...

no offence to the spanish league as i think it has some quality.

but the "4-3" games that are played in the spanish league are shit. i mean attacking wise the spanish teams play good football.

but you get 1000 times more angry on how bad they defend and how bad mentality they got.

i agree that it sucks to support a spanish team because they all make stupid errors but i still think that its more entertaining than two english teams just defending and keeping 10 men in their own half :con

You watch footbasll for defending of people having the quality to be noticed by the public, by defending and being solid rather than being noticed on assists and goals.

im a defender myself and i know how important solid defending is, but id still take a 4-3 win over a 1-0 win anytime

defending is everything in football, its a team sport and the defence counts for everything in the end. if you can't admire defending in football then you should go and watch a individual sport like tennis or something, where you cant defend anything.

i know how important it is cuz im a defender!!
but i still think that its more entertaining to watch attacking, free flowing football.. rather than teams shutting the opposition out
