At last Alan Knill has been sacked and the announcment is that Brian Laws will take over tomorrow(30/10/12) with his assistant manager been Russ Wilcox which brings back the old managment combination that gave Scunthorpe Success before. After reading an interview with the chairman though i dont think the future of Scunthorpe United is too good as the chairman is to step down and the club is going to lose money again this season. This means that unless we see a good investment in the club then there will be very little room for more and better players. But however at least we now have a good and well respected managment team in place who should help the club a lot! Alan Knill was always failing to deliver and it was getting worse and worse with results and games so it has certainly been the right decision to sack him. Can The Iron ever grace the champoinship again?? I hope so but it will be a huge challange!! Up The IRON!!
