STEVE CLARKE REJECTS BAGGIES OFFER

Former Liverpool assistant Steve Clarke has rejected West Brom's offer to become their new manager since Roy Hodgson's departure to England. Clarke said that he didn't believe West Brom were 'moving in the right direction' with their squad and he didn't think that the job was right for him. The West Brom board are said to be disappointed with Clarke's decision, and may turn to reserves coach and former player, Josh Feehily, in an attempt to bring stability to the club.

Feehily was a player up until 2006 when he retired with a knee injury, and returned to the club as the reserves manager in February 2008. It is thought his knowledge of the club could help them maintain their Premier League status. His known tactical philosophy, and his Northern Irish status has led him to be compared to Brendan Rodgers, whom he grew up with. A decision on Feehily's stance will be made in the next 48 hours according to Sky Sources. The odds on his appointment have been slashed from 32/1 to 4/1, and you can make that bet if you head over to Sky Bet. West Brom fans may finally have a manager to talk about.
Okay, this story is going to be a mix of first person reports, on the team and transfers etc, and it will also be a mix of third person news articles, some will be match reports etc. I hope people will enjoy the story.
