Lahart's first task as Ternana manager is to plan the side's pre-season. Séamus is a true believer that " Hard work and determination brings success " therefore he puts his side on a riqorous fitness regime.

He also sets upon arranging his side's pre-season friendlies. His plan for these matches is to play weaker opposition as he believes good team confidence and morale is vital for a relegation touted team.

In his first few days as manager, Séamus also watches his first few team training session's.

At the end of his first week, he comes up with a list of players who can be deemed as surplus and be used to raise much needed transfer funds. The players that are placed on the transfer list are, attacking midfielder Luis Alfagerne, left wing-back Massimo Gotti, Centre-back Salvatore Ferraro and midfielder Davide Carcuro.
looks nice. just a word of advice, no need to do 4 posts for one update ;)
Good luck!
A Serie B story! :D

Will be looking forward to and following this :P

Nice writing style, by the way.
Full Time : Ternana 4-1 Cesi

Exactly one week into his management, Séamus had his first match. His side duly delivered against the weak Cesi side. The superior fitness of the Ternana side was evident to see in the secod-half, in which they took Cesi to the sword, scoring 3 quick goals. Ternana's top performer was Angelo Raffaele Nolé, bagging himself 2 assists from the left flank.

Biundo seals the deal with Ternana

The 20 year old attacking midfielder, Roberto Biundo has become the first signing for Ternana under the reign of Séamus Lahart. Roberto, who was a free agent is said to be "Delighted to a team with such bright future plans".

The 20 year old, is well-known for his silky dribbling skills and decent passing. At this moment in time, Roberto seems like more of a back-up to the first team rather than a regular starter.

Looking very good! just make sure Roberto Biundo hits the gym, hehe.
Hotshot Capellino signs for Ternana

Séamus Lahart has sealed his second signing of the summer by signing Gustavo Capellino.
Capellino, who was a free agent, has penned a two-year contract that will see him stay at Ternana until 2014.

Lahart is said to be "Over the moon" to sign such a talented player without having to spend a penny. Gustavo, has all the attributes to be a big hit in the Serie B. His dribbling and passing can split defences in two and his finishing can leave goalkeepers sitting on their backside.

Lahart set to spend

Henry Winter -Journalist

Over the past week, Ternana Manager Séamus Lahart has been on the look for new faces to bring into his squad. This week, he has had a look at no less than 8 players playing for their clubs in their pre-season friendly matches. With just over 100k to spend, Séamus will have to spend wisely.

If ever there was a masterclass on how to win in style, this would be it. Ternana dominated from the off, notching up 32 shots, 63% possession and not allowing the opposition a shot. Séamus can be proud of his team's performance and if they play like this, this season, there will be no worry in relegation.

Spas Delev signs just in time for Cup tie

Séamus Lahart has completed his fourth signing of the summer. Winger Spas Delev, a player who was being chased by Serie A teams such as Parma and Pascara is said to be the "marquee signing" for Lahart and his Ternana side. The 22 year old Bulgarian winger who has already played for his country 5 times, has been registered with the Italian FA just in time for Ternana's second round cup tie against Cremonese. Though Ternana are the underdogs, the inclusion of Delev could be a massive turning point.

The winger has the speed to terrify any defence in the world and is sure to be a big hit with the fans.

Attack the best form of defence for Lahart

In his first competitive match in charge of Ternana, Séamus Lahart has went for an attacking minded team. Lahart has placed his hopes on Gustavo Capellino giving him the role of a lone striker in a 4-2-3-1 formation. He is also very confident that the wings are his biggest strength with Nolé and new boy Delev taking up the flanks.

Disaster for Lahart as first game in charge ends in trashing

Séamus Lahart's start to his career as Ternana did not go according to plan as his side slumped to a heavy 1-4 defeat. All was going well for Ternana at the start when new signing Spas Delev put the ball into the back of the opposition net. It was only while he was celebrating putting his side in front that he found out the goal had being wrongly disallowed, leaving Lahart lambasting the 4th official and even sending Roberto Biundo down the line to abuse the linesman.

Shortly after this, Cremonese took the lead thanks to a slick counter-attack which was cooly finished by Milan Djuric. Within 11 minutes however, the teams were back on terms as Gustavo Capellino slotted the ball into the corner of the net. As the referee blew his whistle for half-time, manager Séamus Lahart was out on the pitch giving the official his thoughts on the disallowed goal.

Things went from bad to worse only 3 minutes into the second half as Djuric again was on the score-sheet. This time a powerful header from the edge of the box. Djuric completed his hat-trick 5 minutes later. With the match already over, Cremonese finished off the rout. This time Ricardo Mussetti lobbing the goalkeeper.

It was not the fairytale start to his managerial career but things can only get better for Lahart from here.
