Issues with 'Apply for managerial positions at'

How comes it gives you a variety of options, and yet there seems to be little difference between the results of them. Regardless whether or not I select 'higher reputation clubs' or 'Top division clubs' I still apply to places like Hull, who are in the championship, not the premier league.

Also, why must I decide between 'National Teams' and 'club teams'?
i like going on holiday and applying for jobs and seeing what comes back, but it's not possible to apply for both; I don't want to miss out on Barcelona as I've set 'national teams', or miss out on England as I've selected 'top division clubs' (for example)
Seems a little nonsensical...

Unfortunately FM is not the perfect game yet but that would be impossible. I'm sure in future versions of the game, the options will be more accessible.
