Bringing glory back to Bradford City



This is a picture taken after that Torbjørn Ranheim got presented as the new Bradford City Manager.

This is my first Manager story.
My name is Torbjørn Ranheim and I have decided to take the charge over the club called Bradford City.
After some bad seasons for Bradford, they decided to get a new manager. They hired the unknown norwegian manager called Torbjørn Ranheim. He said "I am very excited to be hired for this job. I am a hard working manager, who wants to get Bradford back to the Premier League. That is my goal. The journalists just stared at me, like I were a dumbass. I know I have to sell and buy some players to get the results that I want, and I will do whatever it takes to make it"

I'm looking forward to a lot of nerve breaking penalty shoot outs!

I am a person who loves to buy players. And if I have to buy many players, I will do it.

Junior Agogo – Free transfer
Paul Scott – Free transfer
Mark Wilson – Free transfer
Craig Forsyth – Loan from Watford.
Vegard Heltne – Free from Hødd
Fredrik Aursnes – 70 000 kr from Hødd.
Tommy Edvardsen – Free from Kristiansund BK.
Aziz Deen-Conteh – Loan from Chelsea.
Vajebah Sakor – 80 000 kr from Asker.
(This is what Bradford bought in July og August).


”I am very happy with the players I have bought. Two players who is big talents is Fredrik Aursnes and Vajebah Sakor. ”Fredrik og Vajebah is two young boys, which has a big potential. If they are trained right, then they will be big stars, and I think that Bradford is the right club for them.” I told the journalists.
I am going to drill some tactics, 4-4-2 and 4-2-2-1.

Peter Gulacsi – Loan from Liverpool.
”To be honest, I think this is the best squad i can get. Look at all this key players on this team. This has to turn out good. I said to the press. They didn't seem that negative anymore. It felt like they trusted me and thought that I would make it. In the papers the day after it stood:: ”Can Torbjorn do this?” and ”The squad is good, is the trainer good?”.

Will you be planning to use Peter Gulacsi as a first-choice keeper?

I think that I would use both Martin Lejsal and Peter Gulacsi in some matches. My scouts are saying that Martin Lejsal is a better keeper than Mr.Gulacsi.

Pre-Season matches:

Bradford - Southampton 2 - 2

Guiseley AFC - Bradford 1 - 3

Bradford - Middlesbrough 0 - 2

Bradford - Bradford reserves 3 - 2

Bradford - Newcastle reserves 3 - 1

Bradford Park Avenue - Bradford 0 - 1

I think we started very good, a 2-2 result against Southampton is extremely good.
We also won against Guiseley AFC, thats good.
Then we loose against Middlesbrough, they are very good, and i'm happy we don't loose more then 0-2.
The rest of the matches is okay.

Torbjørn Ranheim (me) sitting with the bosses of the club in a meeting. I am very happy for the start of the season, and I think that if I can keep this team, I can go up to League 1.

Any team that keeps the gunners potless and Whinger Wenger upset, is alright by me...come on City!

I have already finished the first season.
I won! I made it! This was a brilliant season for me and my team. Now the players are going to celebrate, and next week, we are going to start the preparation to the next season. Me and the staff, are going to look at the squad, and see which part of the team that needs some improvements. I said to the journalists.

The player of the year:
Junior Agogo (38 matches, 33 goals, 11 assists).

The young player of the year:
I think that is Vajebah Sakor or Fredrik Austnes. They both had a great season.
Fredrik Austnes: 13 matches, 1 goal and 3 assists.
Vajebah Sakor: 22 matches, 0 goals and 2 assists.

Manager of the year:
Torbjørn Ranheim - Bradford City.

I am very excited to get this prize. It isn't me who did the job, it was the players. They believed in my training and tactics, and it showed results.

Now I have started to play the season two.
