Going strong in the Europa League! Keep up your no-lose record in the Europa League :P

September: A Tough Job

I have certainly realized how tough it is to be a manager, and starting to think if I am even ready for a job like this at all. The results this month have been less than satisfactory and I can tell some of the players, especially the new guys, don't exactly have much faith in a manager who has no previous managerial experience taking charge of a club like Liverpool.

We have been knocked out of the Capital One Cup at our first attempt of defending our trophy, being crushed 3-0 by the damn Toon. Also, after recent results we have slipped down to 14th place, 6 points below 4th place.

Butland: "It was like a dream"

Young Reds keeper Jack Butland got his first ever start & appearance as a Liverpool player yesterday against Aston Villa in the Premier League, and has described the feeling of going out onto the pitch as a Liverpool player "like a dream".

The 19-year-old started the game after manager Nick Dabool became appalled at first-choice Pepe Reina's performances against Newcastle in the Third Round of the Capital One Cup, with the Spaniard letting in 3 goals that knocked his side out.

"It was like a dream," said Butland. "You go out on the pitch with all the Liverpool fans cheering you on - seeing players like Daniel (Agger) and Martin (Skrtel) in front of you. It's such a brilliant feeling, and I would give anything to be in Pepe (Reina)'s place every week."

Despite conceding 2 goals from Aston Villa in a 2-1 loss, Dabool pointed out that his young goalie made plenty of good saves throughout the match - one that the Villans surprisingly dominated.

The former Birmingham player is expected to start next week against Cluj as well in the Europa League.

October: The Struggle Continues

It has been another horror-filled month as we slip down to 14th in the league. We are also doing shite in the Europa League and I'm seriously starting to question if I should resign from this job before doing anymore harm to this club, the one I've been supporting since childhood. The only good thing we did this month was a 4-1 win against Arsenal. We played a good match, but Arsene Wenger is probably in disbelief because of the fact that a side unable to overcome West Ham & Reading had managed to crush Arsenal 4-1. He's not the only one.

Glenn, you lost to Reading? Really? Un-bel-ievable.
aside from the awesome Arsenal result, you need to scream at your team. turn up the style Glenn :)

Fowler

Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has come out in public to talk about the current Reds boss, coach-turned-manager Nick Dabool.

26-year-old Dabool has had a bad start to his Anfield career, winning only 6 in 19 games in charge.

"Nick joined the club during my second spell at Anfield," Fowler recalled. "I've spoken to him a lot. He's someone who knows his stuff.

"I've watched some of the Liverpool games and we (Liverpool) play really good football. The problem is, we can't really find much of the net, so Nick might want to drill that into the strikers' heads a bit more."

In 10 league games, Liverpool's three strikers Luis Suarez, Fabio Borini and Ademilson have only 6 league goals between them.

Despite the Reds' recent form, Fowler maintains that what Dabool needs is the backing of the fans and the board. "He has my backing," the Muangthong United striker said. "I'm simply afraid the board will grow impatient and sack Nick without thinking it through, because in my opinion he should be given more time in this. It's his first managerial job after all."

The Verge

Inside sources have confirmed that coach-turned-manager Nick Dabool is on the verge of being sacked at his first managerial job.

Despite receiving Robbie Fowler's public backing last week, it seems the Liverpool board does not have the same amount of faith in Dabool.

However, John Henry and Thomas Werner are reportedly prepared to give the Irishman one last month to save his job.

Dabool's Liverpool team have had one of the worst starts to the season in the history of the club, and currently linger in 14th place, 11 points below 4th-placed Tottenham.
Don't give up yet. Have you got to the stage where they say your next game will seal your fate?

Yep :))
Any more news on this Glenn? Really hoping you haven't been sacked or resigned. Only good thing about this is that my Liverpool story will be the only one...there's some inspiration for you!

Actually, I plan on doing my own Liverpool story regardless of whether or not Glenn gets sacked. So expect some competition! xD
