Hi all, I decided to become Celtic manager in fm13 with the aim of matching or beating the current sides run to the last 16 of the champions league.

To start off with, I had a 2 million transfer budget with 300,000 pounds for wages.

Transfers In:

Royston Drenthe (Free) Winger
Marius Zaliukas 3.3 Million Defender
Nigel Reo Coker (Free) Defensive Midfielder
Marc Crossas (1 million) Defensive Midfielder
Wes Hoolanhan (2.6 Million) Attacking Midfielder
Valetin Roberge (1.1 million) Defender

Transfers out:
Anthony Stokes 2 million
Paddy McCort 700,000
Scott Brown 3 million
Samaras 2 million
Kris Commons 2 millions

Tactics: I play 442 with 3 midfielders and one central defensive midfielder behind the front 3 but in front of the defence with emphasis set on a quick tempo, control, balanced and playing wide.

Champions League Results:

Third Qualifying Phase: Maribor - Home Leg 3-0, Away leg 2-1 (Agg 5-1)
Playoff Phase: Cfr Cluj Away Leg 1-0, Home Leg - 4-0 (Agg 5-0)

Group A: Chelsea, PSG, Ajax, Celtic
First match home - Celtic 4-Ajax 1
Second match away - PSG 4-Celtic 3
Third Match Home - Celtic 2-Chelsea 1
Fourth Match Away - Chelsea 1-Celtic 1
Fifth match home - Celtic 2-PSG 2
Sixth match Away - Ajax 0-Celtic 1

Finished Second behind PSG in Group A who had 12 points, we had 11 :D Top goal scorers were Gary Hooper with 5, Kayal with 3, Forrest with 2, Mulgrew with one, Miku with one, Drenthe with one.

Last 16
Celtic vs Ac Milan
Home Leg Celtic 0-Milan 1
Away Leg Milan 2-Celtic 1
Agg (Milan 3-Celtic 1)

Hope everyone enjoyed my tale :)
That was... quick.
