squad registration

i'm at valencia it is my fist season in the champions league
just be told to register my squad for it and have found i have only 2 players trained at club between 15 and 21. What should i do it is the deadline how can i sort it out?

Have you looked in the reserves and academy? No matter how rubbish they are, register them.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that what you have to do is leave empty squad spaces (assuming you don't want to register reserve/youth players like manchesterblue97 said). For example, if you need four homegrown players out of a 25 man squad, but only have two, if you pick only 23 (including those two homegrown players) and leave the final two spaces empty then it should work.

Still, if you're gonna have to leave it empty, you might as well pick a youth player instead, just in case you need to use them!

What Joey said is correct. I am at Newcastle at the moment and also have the same issue, so all i did was to register only 23 players (you will notice it then shows as "23(+2)". this then allows you to have under the required limit of younger homegrown players.

No point in wasting your 25man allocation on players who are not good enough to play and will never be good enough, and dont worry about not having enough players as all players who have been at the club for 2-3 years that are under 20/21 count as a youth player and dont have to be registered anyway.

I'd throw some youth in with decent potential. You'll get the odd game where you can play 1 or 2 young players, can't hurt too much.
