All data is wrong

i put my original key in the folder when i reinstalled

I had to reinstall my OS and I think that's why the Scout got in trouble.

I sent a request for a new key, but so far have not received ...

hmm i suggest to have a talk with eugene cause i'm afraid that instead of overwriting the old install, a complete new install of GS and then placing the key in it doesn't seem to work.
mostly cause of the new id that probably has been given to your GS install.

yes after you reinstall windows and fix/repair gs or reinstall it, your id gets refreshed, and the key then doesn't work anymore.

Normally eugene reacts quite fast but there are moments at which it can take a while

It has happened twice to me now. But I haven't changed anything to do with my pc or its setup or anything to do with the OS or anything to do with GS etc etc. Eugene sent me a new key very quickly last time it happened. Hopefully he isn't too busy to sort out another one for me. Ideally I would like to be able to prevent it from happening again or to sort it out myself if anyone has any idea? I don't want to have to keep pestering Eugene for keys lol
