Luis Ignacio Lozano 20/11/13

What a terrible start to a career. On July 1st, at training, I ran to collect a pass. Before I knew it, I was on the ground and clutching my groin. Te doctors said I had a Sports Hernia and I would be out for 5 weeks. Just a couple of weeks later, I resumed training and everything looked fine before training on August 10th, when I tore a calf muscle. The doctors said I would be out for 4 months. Now, I am sitting here on this bench with nothing to do. I won't be able to play for months. Horrible, just Horrible

No Games Played

It's been a great season for me so far. I started a little slow after the Indipendiente game, but after 3 poor games against San Marin and Sarmiento, and Godoy Cruz, (Sent off in 2 of those games)I broke free against the Belgrano U20s, where I won 6 tackles and 3 head balls to go along with a shot. I continued my good run of form against the Union U20s, where I again won 5 tackles and 3 headballs. My best game so far though was against the Tigre U20s, where to go along with 6 tackles, I scored a goal. I made an overlapping run over the right mid, who played the ball through to me. Then, I cut into the middle and whacked the ball into the side netting to help our team to a 1-1 draw. I would score again against Argentions. After a corner kick, the ball fell straight to me and I scored an easy tap in. I got called up to the reserves 4 days ago to play Racing, where I had 7 tackles and 4 interceptions to lead me to a MOTM and a win. After putting in so many great performances, I was notified that there was interest in me going on loan from 6 Argentinian clubs. Estudiantes, Indipendiente, Estudiantes, Newell's, Tigre, and Velez. No offers have been made yet.

i seen this when you first started it and havent really been on since :) looking really good so far and the regens look good :D keep up the good work :D

Sent off in 2/3? Do we have another Lee Cattermole/Joey Barton situation going on around here? :P

Dimitri Soldovnikov 21/3/13

What a great couple of months. After beating Basel 2-1 and securing a Europa League spot, we headed to Ukraine to play Shaktar Donetsk. We got killed, 10-0 on aggregate. 2 sub-par performances from me. My real breakout came during the Belarusian Super Cup against Naftan. During this hugely important game, I had 12 tackles and 18 headers to go along with 14 interceptions. The best defensive game I've ever played. The team would eventually win the cup to prepare for the upcoming Belarusian season. After such a great game, I was given the position of Vice Captain for the team, a huge honor for me, because I'm so young. After this, I signed a 3 year deal with Bate Borisov worth 250 pounds a week. Later that day, I also was called up to the National team for Belarus. I would get my first ever international cap for Belarus against Israel, where I won 5 tackles and 8 headers. I was very proud of this cap and the record I broke, youngest ever Belarus player. I'm looking forward to the upcoming season with BATE for sure and I hope to win my first league trophy this year.

Great to see a player doing so well at a young age :)

You may be thinking, why all of this? Does it really matter? Here's why. I've decided to start a little competition. And the end of each season, all 4 regens are scored. The 3 who had the highest scores continue to be part of the story. The regen in last place though is replaced by a new regen. Survival of the fittest. Here are the rankings so far.

Dimitry Soldovnikov-149.4 points
Nicholas Zahzu-114.3 points
Pierluigi Savio-29.4 points
Luis Ignacio Lozano-7.05 points

Any suggestions and thoughts on the rating system an the idea are welcome :D
Awesome updates Madrista!
Too bad Lozano had a serious injury. The story is going great, and I guess Lozano will not be here next year :P
Luis Ignacio Lozano 31/5/2014

Chivas said I was the best. So did the Scouts. That's looking less and less fact and more and more dream. I got injured again, a twisted ankle. I was out for around 5 weeks. When I finally got to playing some matches, I didn't do well. The one game I did well in was against the Chicago Fire. I scored a goal by running into the box and receiving a pass around the PK area. I then powered the ball past the keeper into the right corner. It seemed just like the good old days, where I beat people left and right. Now, It seems like injuries might derail my playing career. Chivas seem to have lost interest in my talents, I've only started 2 games and have had a total of just 4 shots in all the games that I have played. You probably won't hear from me next year.
