Fulham Football Club is a professional football club based in Fulham, London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, southwest London. Founded in 1879, they play in the English Premier League, and they are currently in their 11th consecutive season in the division. They are also the oldest established football team from London playing in the EPL.

In the summer of 1997, Fulham were taken over by Mohamed Al-Fayed for a relatively small fee of £6.25 million. A two tier “dream team” was put in place, consisting of Ray Wilkins as Manager and Kevin Keegan as Chief Operating Officer. Their target was to reach the premiership in five seasons. Wilkins left very quickly, and Keegan followed to manage the England team. In the end, the manager that took them to the premiership was Jean Tigana, after he amassed a total of 101 points from a possible 138. And that pretty much takes Fulham to where they are today, having remained consistent in the league, with a club record of 7th in the league.

Key Players
Dimitar Berbatov
http://i1352.photobucket.com/albums/q652/fairley1234/Berbs_zps3f33f1a9.jpg
A new signing at the Cottage, arriving from Manchester United. He created a name for himself at Bayern Leverkusen before moving to White Hart Lane. Has always scored wherever he has played, expect goals all season long.

Bryan Ruiz
http://i1352.photobucket.com/albums/q652/fairley1234/Ruiz_zpscdce4205.jpg
A relatively unknown player when he arrived in the EPL from Twente, he has shown that he has bags of ability and also the odd trick up his sleeve. Berbatov will be hoping that Ruiz can help out with some goals from behind him this season.

Mark Schwarzer

A solid keeper, who has been at Fulham since 2008. You know what you are going to get with Mark, consistency, week in week out.

Brede Hangeland

Another player who has been at Fulham since 2008, a real rock at the back. He is the sort of centre back who could probably play at a higher level, and one who definitely deserves to be playing in Europe.
