Dean Windass wants a job in management
Ex-tiger, Dean Windass today told us he needs a job in football, and would love it to be management.
"I mean, when you are playing you know you'll struggle once you hang up your boots but, I never expected it to be like this."
Dean Windass who has publicly said about his depression said he would take anything, whether it was a kitman at Hartlepool or a janitor for Birmingham.
"You do really miss the game, I mean the last time I was associated with a club was last year with Scarborough."
Dean Windass has been contacted and interviewed for a few manager positions at small clubs but nothing followed up.
"I remember applying for a few jobs last year, I was interviewed for a few and I never got a response afterwards, but I need football. You never realise how much you need it while you're playing but you really do."
Dean Windass enjoyed spells at Hull, Aberdeen and many other clubs.
