The return of the king

Thierry Henry has shocked the whole world today with a decision that has angered some fans but has put smiles on thousands of faces. Henry has gone back home, he has taken over Arsenal FC following the dismissal of AVB.

Many do not understand why Henry left Madrid for Arsenal as he was doing so well with them and clearly stated a year earlier:

''I've achieved all I can in England and its time to move on. ''

However earlier today Henry said in his first press-conference as Arsenal manager:

''It was just impossible to turn them down, they've always been and will always be in my heart. Since I left him I've always secretly wanted to go back. The club have been suffering, many of their star players have left and now I need to resurrect the team I love. ''

In Henry's first spell as Arsenal manager he won a shocking 11 trophies with them in three seasons. He then left the club due to his fallout with the board and went to Chelsea. After winning the capital one cup Henry was sacked after publicly stating he would like to join Barcelona, but ended joining Madrid instead. Henry then won the treble with Madrid before leaving.
Great job Seni! I hope that you bring back the glory you had with Arsenal!
I'm disappointed to see that you've left the glorious Real Madrid, but I hope you can repeat the success you had at Arsenal the first go around. Keep up the good work mate! :D

September, good start

My first month back at home, a very good month too. The team is completely different from the team I managed 4 or 5 years ago. Very few players are left, but I like the team that I have. There's plenty of youth which is very good as youth is key. We must always plan for the future. Players such as Zaha, Hughes, Umtiti are playing well. They're the future for the club. I would really love to repeat the success that I had with Arsenal before.

Antoine Griezmann has been excellent for us this month. He scored a wonderful free kick to win the game vs United.

In the league we are currently lying in second place, two points behind Man City.

Thank you very much Pauker and Jason for the support!
No problem mate! I hope that next season you will get the players you need :P!
thank you
Great start to the league!
Thanks Gashead

October

My second month back at the club and boy does it feel good to be back home. The fans are cheering loudly, we're playing brilliant football, all the players are working hard, what more can one want? This month we played 4 premier league matches and two rather tough champions league matches. 6 matches in total. We won 4 matches in total which is good out of 6 and we drew the other two.

We were disappointed with the draw vs West Brom as in that game we had two chances to score from the spot kick but we failed to convert on both occasions. However its always good to come out of a game with points and that's exactly what we did.

Both Aaron Ramsey and Will Hughes have really impressed me this month as they constantly link up on the pitch which always results to something wonderful. Ramsey is showing his experience and using it for good deeds as he tutors Will Hughes and I can see the two of them get along very well, because of this I make sure that they're playing together at the same time.

Just caught up with this, it's great to see you back with Arsenal :)

Trouble at Arsenal!

Reports says there's trouble at the Emirates concerning Thierry Henry and his players. It is understood that some fringe players are not happy with Thierry Henry's selection choices as they find themselves either on the bench or not in the squad.

Dusan Tadic, Georgy Schennikov, Alex Grimaldo and Aymen Abdennour have all publicly taken to twitter to voice their thoughts.

Grimaldo tweeted ''Before he came, lots of playing time, life was good. Now he's come and stuck on the bench, #HENRYOUT''. He was not the only one to tweet as Dusan Tadic also tweeted something in Serbian which are translators have translated to say ''Furious, I don't even play, I might as well be the water boy, he goes or I go''/

This season Henry has seen to go for a mixture of youth and experience as players such as Will Hughes, Wilfred Zaha and Samuel Umtiti have featured regularly. Also promising 18 year old Barry Brightly has made a few appearances. However Grimaldo is only 22 years of age but has constantly been overlooked by Henry who seems to prefer 22 year old Charles Bell who he developed before leaving the club.

Is Henry right to go for youth and drop some older players or is he being unfair?
