Transfer Signings

We, Arsenal Football Club are proud to announce the signings of Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Robert Lewandowski from Chelsea FC for a fee of 25 and 26 million pounds. Both of these players have played with each other as they are coming from the same team and have worked under the boss Thierry Henry. We are hoping they add some firepower to the current squad as we aim to win the title, but first we must overtake Manchester City. Robert Lewandowski's goal sense and finishing means he will definitely score goals and that's exactly what we want. We want a natural goal scorer. He will also give us an alternative to Lacina Traore who possess speed and skill. Meanwhile Alex Oxlade Chamberlain possess wicked speed, this is something we have seen since we signed him the first time from Southampton. Alex is a two time Golden Boy winner and since has to developed to become one of the best wingers in the world and he is still developing. He is familiar with Arsenal, the playing style etc and hopefully he can help Robert settle in too.

Once Henry rejoined us from Real Madrid he told us immediately that these two players are needed as soon as possible. We trusted him, we've gotten his men and now we hope to see them shine.

Welcome to Arsenal FC Robert Lewandowski and welcome back Alex Oxlade Chamberlain.

Good signings :)
thanks louis
The ox and lewandowski great aditions for a team like arsenal
may they bring you a lot of goals :D

Arsenal closing in on Brazilian star

Thierry Henry is certainly not giving up on buying world class players as reports say that Arsenal are on the verge of buying Brazilian superstar Lucas Moura for a fee of 35 million pounds. The 25 year old winger/striker has bags of tricks accompanied with wicked pace.

Again this is a player that Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has worked with in the past while he managed both Chelsea and Real Madrid. Moura has been unhappy at Madrid due to him being treated poorly and constantly being left on the bench. It is said Arsenal are looking to bring Moura in as the likes of Lacina Traore and Danny Welbeck are set to leave the club either during the current January transfer window or in the summer. Traore recently rejected a contract offer from Arsenal and Welbeck is not happy with the signing of Lewandowski as he was already playing second fiddle to Lacina Traore.

The deal hasn't been confirmed yet but reports say in the next 48-72 hours Arsenal will announce the signing of Lucas Moura on their website. We are very sure that will not be the last player Henry brings in as Arsenal have currently been hit with a left back crisis as Gibbs is out injured and Umtiti is suffering from possibly being overplayed. Reports suggest Henry is eyeing bringing in Luke Shaw, yet another player he has worked with before.
He is quality. I wish I had the funds to sign him.
Wait a moment..Arsenal are splashing the cash?! Impossibru!!

:P Great signings, Seni.
Some great signings Seni, proving to Wenger why splashing the cash does work! :P
Very good signings!

January Results

Anfield

Liverpool 1-2 Arsenal

Arsenal Starting Lineup: Jack Butland, Stones, Sakho, Phil Jones, Umtiti, Bender, Ramsey, Griezmann, Lewandowski, Zaha, Traore

GOALS: Dembele (45) , Ramsey (21), Griezmann (7)

MOTM : Lars Bender

To be honest we didn't really dominate the game as Liverpool had most of the possession but we made sure we took our chances and we were fluid. We also defended solidly. Liverpool had various chances to equalize but on each occasion we kept them out to grab an important three points.

Carrow Road

Norwich 0-2 Arsenal

Arsenal Starting Lineup: Jack Butland,Bell, Sakho, K Papadopolous , Umtiti, Phil Jones, Ramsey, Griezmann, Will Hughes, Zaha, L Traore

GOALS: Wilfred Zaha (33) Traore (66 pen)

MOTM : Sakho

A break from our league fixtures saw us take on Norwich City in the capital one cup semi-final (first leg). A competition that I have won many times and I'm eager to win again. The team was expecting a tough battle but that is definitely not what we faced as we cruised to a 2-0 victory.

Emirates Stadium

Arsenal 3-0 Huddersfield

Arsenal Starting Lineup: Jack Butland,Bell, Umtiti, K Papadopolous ,Stones, Modric, Cabaye, Griezmann, Will Hughes, Zaha, Lewandowski

GOALS:Lewandowski (28,55), Will Hughes (94)

MOTM : Robert Lewandowski

Robert was simply amazing today proving why we payed 26 million pounds for him with two goals on his debut. He was ruthless and deadly in front of goal taking no prisoners. It was a good victory for us as at the beginning of the match we were a bit shaky, especially after Huddersfield hit the cross bar.

Emirates Stadium

Arsenal 4-0 Reading

Arsenal Starting Lineup: Jack Butland, Bell, Sakho, Phil Jones ,Stones, Modric, Bender, Welbeck, Lewandowski, Walcott, L Traore

GOALS: Danny Welbeck (3,25), Lewandowski (16), Phil Jones (43)

MOTM : Danny Welbeck

Welbeck has been begging for a run in the team and his wish was finally granted. He proved he can still help the squad by scoring two goals as we thrashed a woeful Reading side 4-0 to grab another crucial three points.

Britania Stadium

Rugby Team 0-1 Football team

Arsenal Starting Lineup: Jack Butland, Bell, Phil Jones ,K Papadopolous, Umtiti, Modric, Bender, Griezmann, Will Hughes, Zaha, Lewandowski

GOALS: L Traore ( 91)

MOTM : Phil Jones

A brilliant/ugly victory from the team as we were playing away from home. Stoke's pitch was atrocious and their tackles were very rough and bad. We're lucky to come out of this game without any injuries at all as it seemed that's all Stoke wanted to do with tackles flying everywhere.

Emirates Stadium

Arsenal 2-1 Norwich

Arsenal Starting Lineup: Gino Fennell, Stones, Brightly, Sakho, Umtiti, Cabaye, Phil Jones, Kerem Ak, A Toschi, Walcott, Welbeck

GOALS: Kerem Ak (5), Phil Jones (73), Herned (73 pen)

GOALS: Phil Jones

At the end of this match I was very happy and celebrated wildly as the victory meant that we had qualified for the final and had a very good chance of going onto winning the tournament. Once again Phil Jones put in a man of the match performance showing both his defensive and attacking skills.

Emirates Stadium

Arsenal 5-1 Liverpool

Arsenal Starting Lineup: Jack Butland, Bell, Phil Jones, Sakho, Umtiti, Modric, Bender, Griezmann, Hughes, Lucas Moura, Lewandowski

GOALS: Lewandowski (17, 24, 55), Will Hughes (22,) Moura (63), Ozil(LFC) (50)

GOALS: Lewandowski

A breathtaking performance from the team and a terrific individual performance from Lewandowski scoring his first hattrick in Arsenal colours. Liverpool is a tough team but they were no match for us today.

Emirates Stadium

Arsenal 1-1 QPR

GOALS: Lewandowski (67), Loic Remy (89)

Very disappointing result as we were leading for so long then a silly mistake let us down.

League Standings

We have finally overtaken Manchester City and we're aiming to extend our lead at the top so we can't be caught.

A draw against QPR? IMPOSSIBRU!

Rugby team :))

OX TV

Hi guys, its me Alex, the ox and welcome back to OX TV! Now I haven't been able to do this for ages because I left the club but I'm back, sadly I've got an injury but you've always gotta stay positive. So on my twitter I asked you to pour in your questions and on today's episode titled
"The return of the ox"

So here we go!

Ben from England asked ''Hi Alex, how does it feel joining Arsenal again?''

Well to be honest I can really explain how happy I am to be back. Arsenal along with Southampton have really developed me as a player, I was sad to leave but that was the past, now I'm back and Ii just want to get fit and I want to start playing games!

Ok guys, the next question is from Justice from Ireland and his question is '' Who's faster you or Theo?'' I've been asked this question thousand of times but this is the first time I'll have a different answer. Right now I think I'm faster than Theo as I've developed some more pace since the last time I played for this club.

Last question for today is from Jason from America and his question is '' The king, what do you think about him?'' He is a legend and will always be. Many would think I would say he was genius on the pitch but I disagree as he still has it. As a manager he is like a friend and father. He is the reason why I won the Golden boy award twice and I'm thankful for everything he has done for me. Even when I was at Chelsea and I heard he was going back to Arsenal I knew that's where I wanted to be...

So guy's that's it for today, I've gotta go hit the gym so I can get fit ASAP. This is OX TV!
