Arkadi Azarov

My name is Arkadi Azarov, and I am a Russian Manager. I was born in 1981 and have spent most of my life in Switzerland, despite my loyalties lying in my homeland. My dream is to travel the continent and become one of the greatest managers ever. I want to win every important trophy there is.

Origins

It had been 5 months since I had completed my course for coaching qualifications, and I was pretty much all set to get a job, but finding one within range proved a struggle. I used to play sunday league, and along with playing, I also coached the team. Since then, I've worked across Switzerland in many football-related jobs, but only now did I have the chance to truly manage.

I sighed, browsing my laptop, no Geneva teams were available. Maybe I could look a bit further out. I browsed news on German teams. 'Schmidt leaves Munchen.' I clicked on the article and skimmed over the details. The job caught my interest, but I knew it was out of my league. Screw it. I picked up the phone and dialed my agents number.

"Could you check out this 1860 Munchen job?"

The Meeting

Two nights ago, a day after I'd called my agent to check out the job, I had received a call back. Apparently, the 1860 owners were interested in getting as many applicants as possible to expand their choices, so, I was invited to take an interview, so I was now stood in an office, somewhere by the Allianz, presenting my vision for the club, showing them my tactics. They looked impressed, and as I walked out and headed to my hotel room, I had a slight flicker of hope that I would get the job, but, there were likely much bigger candidates.

As I settled in to my room, I began to flick through my laptop, looking at info on the club. I already knew quite a lot, but it wouldn't hurt to see some more stuff.
