A once fine and great club are in turmoil after relegation from Frances top flight left them in the second division. Their manager was sacked and they appointed Claudo Ranieri who was supposed to lead them to new heights but was earlier reported to have resigned as Monaco boss just 3 days into his new job.

After a lovely holiday in Lanzarote with my family i was checking up on the European scene and i stolled across an artical headed, 'AS-MONACO IN TURMOIL'. I wonderd how such a great club fall so hard. I read on. Their new manager Ranieri had resigned after just 3 days in charge and that the club whould be looking for a new manager. Earlier in life i had taken my coaching badges to a good standard gaining a UEFA A License. I had a small coaching job at my local club Burton Albion and helped out by managing my main local club, Gresley. I had gave them success after the liquidation on Gresley Rovers by helping them to 4 succesive promotions to get back to their former level.

I walked along the beach for an hour and thought 'I need a better job, a big job'. I then reached the local bar and sat and watched a Spanish football show which was airing a report on AS- Monaco. I watched the show and then returned to my hotel. As i was walking back i found a childs AS-Monaco scarf. I relised these where signs and i rushed back to the hotel to book a flight to Monaco.

On the plane journey i wrote a letter of intrest to the Monaco chairman and i delivered it as soon as we hit the ground. We then took a taxi past the AS-Monaco ground and stared in awe at the 9 arches towering the ground.
I opended my laptop and watched youtube clips of the teams performaces last season........
They were shocking.
I then glanced at my taskbar to see FM begging me to play but i resisted. That game inspired me to be a great Manger and leader and i wanted that dream to become true to much. As a teen people said i had no chance and even my school would not allow me to have the support i needed to live out this dream.
I just had to try harder........

It was 10am the next morning and my mobile rang with a french number.
"Hello is the Mr. Matt Wells"
"Yes it is", i replied.
"This is the chairman of Monaco Fc and we are inviting you to the clubs main headquarters to talk about the possibility of you becomming the next manger of the club".
I was stunned.
"Pack some things and join us immidietly at the clubs training facilities".
"Yes right away", i replied.
I rushed out the door and headed to the training ground knowing that i may well become the new manager of this once great club......

It was a dream for me to become the new coach and i wanted to make this club good again. The board wanted me to go straight back up and that was highly likely due to the massive Transfer budget. This club has produced many great players and managers and i want to have a young team capable to achiveing anything. I believe the team can be the best but it will take a while. The club has never realy done much on the european side but in france they have been excellent over past decades and i want to replicate that.
Nice start mate, i think everyone would enjoy this story much more if there were pictures or screenshots, just a idea :) but well done so far :D

This

and try to check your spellings and grammar once before you post, bad language makes it hard to read for other people. Also remember to capitalize your I's.

By the looks of it you have a good idea for a story, but the presentation makes a world of difference. :)
I personally don't feel in game screenshots are required. Nice to have, yes, but not essential. For me its all about the style of writing, which yours appears to be good. Just cut out the little grammatical errors and I'm sure you'll be on to a winner. Remember, it's not because we're all "grammar nazi's" it's because a lot of people who read this may not speak English as their first language, so tiny errors to us Brits could make it un-readable for non-English speaking readers :)
Liverbird hit the nail on the head. Always try to check your English before you post as readers might have sore eyes reading posts with broken English. For me, I would only read a story with broken English if it was written by an author with English not as their first language.

I took training for the first time and the squad was capable of finishing high in Ligue 1 let alone Ligue 2. I looked around the training ground and I then headed up to the pitch. The pitch had a huge rock cliff on on side and it towered over the pitch and intimidated us. The facilities were excellent and nothing needed improving in the near future.

I then took a walk to the youth facilities and watched them train for an hour and then I headed inside to look at the squad and see if we needed any improvements.
Good start mate, I'm interested to see how you do with Monaco. In the last update, the grammar was a lot better too. Keep up the good work :)
