Galatasaray sack Fatih Terim

Terim has been sacked after leading the club to their 18th title in Turkey and gaining Champions League football for the next season.
Many people are apparently in touch and interested with the job with Pep Guardiola at 7/4,Fabio Capello at 4/1 and Gus Hiddink at 8/1.

“Hello and welcome to Sky Sports special report about upcoming managers in the world of football. With me here I have a young manager from England who goes by the name of Matthew Wells. He has led his local team to 3 back-to-back promotions and Is being monitored by bigger clubs to see where his skills can take him. So Matt how do you feel about your future in the beautiful game?”
“Well I am hopeful I will get a big job at a top club in the nearby future and I believe I can be a great manager in this game”.
“Wells there you go a bright young manager who we wish the best to in the future, That’s it from me and back to the studio”.

Mr Ünal Aysal liked what he saw. As chairman of Galatasaray he knew what he wanted and he would get it. He wanted Matt Wells as the new manager of his football club.
Nice start, will be interesting to see how you do in Turkey

Mr Ünal Aysal had been on the phone trying to get hold of Matt Wells when he stoke some look and he found the right number. Mr Aysal had told me to get the first flight out to Istanbul right away to talk about the possibility of being the next manager of Galatasaray SK.

I arrived the next day and I was rushed to the ground to meet Mr Chairman. He sat me down and we talked for a long time about the future of the football club. He then asked me if I wanted the job. It was a dream come true. I was being offered a job at a massive European club. He then slid a contract in front of me and he then offered me a pen………

‘Unknown’ English manager Matt Wells has signed a contract to become the new manager of Galatasaray SK in Turkey.

The club have issued a statement saying “We welcome Mr Wells to our football club and we hope to bring wide success to the club and Turkish football”.

Mr Wells has not been available for a comment but is said to have been delighted to have been offered the job.

After I accepted the job I was told I had to win the league with only a Transfer budget of £175k and a wage budget of £17.5k. This may increase due to me qualifying for the Champions league but it is still not very much at all.

We needed to bring in a backup GK, a new LB and a new quality CM.

We have the best strike force in the league with Drogba, Yilmaz and Elmander and also Snijder playing just behind them.

Galatasaray have completed the loan signing of former Arsenal striker Eduardo da Silva.
I have signed Eduardo as he brings something new into the team and always has a goal or two in him. Will be great backup for Drogba and Yilmaz.
It would be great to see you put some images into your posts and maybe information about player's potentials when you make signings.

Aside from that it is a good start, keep it up.

I was wondering what I could do for this football club. The team has been so great domestically and also had good spells in Europe.

This season I aim to finish in the top 2 but I really want to win the league. In the Champions league I want to go through but if we finished 3rd and went into the Europa that would not be a disaster either.

I have attained more money for better signings but most are loans and frees but the team I have at the moment should win the league.

We are making a profit each month which is good too and we have the Turkish super cup against Fenerbache so I hope to win that.

Next post: Pre- Season results.
Fenerbache? Won't want to lose that one

Ino would be disastrous.

We only had 3 pre- season games as we had a tight schedule but here are the results:

Udinese Home 2-0

Milwall Away 4-1

IJ Away 5-2

Some decent results but we tried out the tactics and improved fitness levels.

Next update: Turkish Super Cup
4-1 to Millwall? Ah well, at least the other results were good.

Galatasaray Win Super Cup

We have won the Super cup after beating Fenerbache 2-1. It was a tough game and we had to fight to the very end to seal the victory and we eventually got the winner late on in the game.

We lost Felipe Melo to injury during the game and he will be out for 3-4 months which is a big blow but we will have to play on. Nerveless a good win and a first trophy in the bag.

Next Update: First 3 games of the season.

A month of joy and Yilmaz

We have been on fire this month winning all 3 games and scoring 14 goals with Yilmaz getting 9 of them.

The first game of the season gave us 3 points in a game were we dominated well. The goal was always coming but it took us a while but when they had a player sent off we capitalized and dominated.

This game we went behind twice but scored all 5 in the first half. Yilmaz scored a hat-trick and they grabbed on back in the second half but it wasn’t enough, Good win though.

Wow what a game we were excellent. Yilmaz got 5!!!!!!. Johan Elmander scored his first goal of the season too.
Our next game is Fenerbache away.

Next Update: Transfer special- All transfers.
