I thought this was a intresting topic for the reality part of the forums, basicly this 20 year old footballer playing for AEK Athens called Giorgos Katidis, celebrated a winning goal against Veria. He then did a Nazi Style Salute:

He then has been banned by the Greek F.A for life for playin for Greece. In the aftermath of the incident, Katidis took to Twitter, claiming that he despises fascism and didn’t understand the historical connotation of his straight-armed pose. According to German-born AEK coach Ewald Lienen, Katidis doesn’t have any "idea about politics."

Anyway was wondering what you guys think of the punishment and the thing in general?
He reckons he was waving at an injured team mate in the crowd lol

Personally, I don't think you can possibly not know the significance of that salute. I mean it's a common sight from one of the biggest events in world history. How can you not know what it means?
My opinion is that he should be banned and fined, but it is stupid to ban him for life because he is a young player and he could develop into a great player but the greek national team, who aren't very good, will never pick him no matter how good he is.
