My Bio

Name: Joe Dowley
Gender: Male
Date of Birth: 20th May 1987
Nationality: English

Joe Dowley was a professional rugby player before turning to football. The 25 year-old suffered a career-ending injury at the age of 22, and has since been studying for his coaching badges.

Dowley's childhood club Frome Town

He is known by cults of teenagers on Facebook and Twitter due to some of his antics as a player, almost the Mario Balotelli of rugby.

Before turning to football, Dowley had made 23 first-team appearances for Harlequins, and was in-line to start for England against New Zealand. However, his career was derailed after an injury to his knee left him on crutches for a year and a half.

Now, after passing the coaching badges, he has reportedly put his name out among many of the top clubs in England, and will be looking for a job soon.

In a shock U-turn, Tottenham Hotspur have announced that contract negotiations with Andre Villas-Boas have broken down this morning. The ex-Chelsea man was expected to sign a 3 year deal today, but reported issues over the agent fees are supposedly the problem.

Tottenham will find this as a major blow, as pre-season starts in only 2 weeks, and with the chances of picking up a manager looking more unlikely, fans will be asking themselves what the club are going to do.

After Tottenham Hotspur's recent struggle in search of a suitable manager, the club have today announced via their website that unknown manager Joe Dowley will be taking over on a one-year contract.

'The Club is delighted to announce that Joe Dowley has joined as our new Head Coach and Manager on a 1 year contract.'

There will be a press-conference introducing the new manager at 9 AM tomorrow morning.

After an average pre-season against fairly easy opposition, we started the season away at the Emirates, for the North London derby. It was quite a close game, and shortly after I took the lead, an error from Vertonghen put Chamkh through and he scored. I was annoyed at the end but it was a good performance overall. Then we played Southampton at home, where we had a great second half dominating them, with some goals for Cavani and Ba. We also had Bale, Dembele and Kaboul injured in this game, but only for a few weeks. Then we faced West Ham at Upton Park, another derby game, where Ba managed to nick the winner in a tight game.

We now have to look forward to September, which I'm hoping will be a very good month for us. I reckon that we can keep picking up points in the league, and a good start in the Europa League will be necessary.

Transfers

I decided to look mainly for a couple of new strikers and some wing-backs for my tactic. I bought in Ba and Cavani to beef up the attack, as only having Adebayor and Defoe probably would not have been enough players. I also bought Mason Bennett and Will Hughes, the beastly duo from Derby County. Then, I signed Angel Rangel and Martin Olsson for the wing-back positions on either side.

My Tactic

It is very strong from corners, and there is good passing up front. Hopefully this will help me to glory at some point this season!
I'm pretty sure Demba Ba isn't a Tottenham player ;) If you have done some transfers, especially notable ones, it will be best to do a transfer update to notify the readers on who you've got in.

Other than that, good start so far.
Good start. I advise you to switch Cavani and Ba's positions.
Will try that mate, its probably better for Cavani to be scoring than Ba :)

We played really well this month, picking up 7 out of 9 points in the league, dropping points away at Wigan. Norwich was a fairly easy game and we dominated from the start, picking up a comfortable 2-0 win. FC Twente then came to visit, as we played them in the Europa League group stages, beating them 3-1, with Adebayor picking up his first goals of the season. Away a the DW Stadium, we had a shocker of a first half, and it could have been 3-0 to Wigan at half time. But the second half is when we showed off a bit, almost scoring 5 goals. In the end though, we had to settle for one, courtesy of Demba Ba. following Wigan, we beat Chesterfield 3-0 in the Capital One Cup 3rd Round, although we did have to beat them during extra-time, which I wasn't happy about. Finally, with Gareth Bale returning from injury, he scored a hat-trick to set up a 4-1 win against West Brom.

Again I will be looking to pick up points here, but Chelsea will be tough in both the games. I also will face Liverpool so it will be a tough mont him the league.

Dear Guys,

I know you are tired of hearing this but my story has again been cut short. I took my laptop in for repairs at the apple store and to recover some files on my hard drive. I recovered the files but they deletd all my FM files.

Vey annoyed at the moment but I hope that I can start a new one.
