Jim White- "We can today reveal that Premier League side Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has stepped down from his post due to being frustrated at the lack of funding he recieves. Bookmakers have placed Pescara manager Cristiano Bergodi as the favourite at 6/1, with Nigel Pearson placed at 10/1 and Paolo Di Canio is at 15/1. Unknown rookie James Heyhoe is a surprise inclusion on the list at 33/1 but Stoke Chairman Peter Coates says he may be hired if they cannot hire any of their three favourites".
