Jim White- "Breaking news from Everton Football Club, it is revealed that owner Bill Kenwright has recently sold the club to after fans have had many protests against his running of the club. The new owners of the club are members of the Qatari royal family, and have pledged to pump money into the club every season".

Jim White- "Everton can confirm that manager David Moyes has left the club by mutual consent. It is believed that Moyes is not happy with the takeover of the Qatari Royal Family, and has now left the club to pursue his ambitions elsewhere".

Odds for the new Everton manager:

Luis Enrique 5/1
Nigel Adkins 10/1
Josep Guardiola 25/1
Phil Neville 40/1

Jim White- "Everton FC have announced that player Phile Neville has been appointed as the clubs manager on a full time basis and retiring as his role as a player, leaving the captains armband vacant.

35 year old Neville, who won 57 caps for England between 1996-2007 has been at Everton since 2005 when he joined the club from Manchester United for a fee of £3.5m. We will be able to catch up with Neville in the next few days as that's when he has promised to give us an interview. The fans believe he is the ideal appointment due to his knowledge of the club, and they hope he can use his huge amounts of money to get the club into the Champions League".
