FM Scout Champions Cup
As the FM Scout Cup did not run earlier last year, I, and a few others, felt it was needed again. Now, we have the solution. The FM Scout Champions Cup. The FM Scout Champions cup would run in the same way as the FM Scout Cup, but with less teams, and the European Championships. The 16 participants would be split into groups of 4. However, if demand is high, we will increase the tournament size to 32.
Key Information
- You must be a regular member on the site. This is so we don't have too much trouble contacting you, making the cup run smoothly and be more fun for everyone involved.
- There will be seeding. To make the groups fair, I will decide who should be in what seed, then the groups will be drawn randomly.
- There will be people overseeing the whole cup to check it out, including myself.
- The cup will hopefully run late June or early July. Make sure you are able to play then. Times and dates of matches will be decided within your group.
The Prizes
Yeah, I know. What's a cup without a prize? We couldn't get any prize immediately, but now, after some 'very hard, tiring meetings', we had found a prize. In fact, we haven't found one prize - but three.
The prizes won't be handed out in order of 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Instead, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed winners will have three prizes from. They can all pick the same, or all pick different - it doesn't matter. However, as a little extra, 2nd place will get a small bonus on their story, and 1st place will get a bigger-small bonus.
So the three prizes you can choose from? If you finish in the top three, you can pick one of any three prizes.

FM Genie Scout is a very popular tool on the site, helping with many different aspects in your Football Manager game, which is free to download. However, the "g" edition includes a few extra features, and is ad-free. Usually the "g" edition requires a donation, but now is a possible prize for free!

We also ask that if you pick a FM Scout tee, you try to use a simple design without too many customizations, such as colours, as it can become a lot harder for Stam to make and send to you.
The Structure
Group Stages
- Each team would play each other once.
- Every match is just 90 minutes.
- Win = 3 points. Draw = 1 point. Defeat = 0 points.
- Points decide the groups, then goal difference, then goals scored, then result between teams.
Knockout Stages
- Two legs, one home and one away fixture.
- An aggregate result will decide the winner.
- Away goals will be used if needed.
- Extra time and penalties will be used if still needed.
The Final
- One fixture to decide the winner.
- The game played at a neutral ground, decided by myself.
- Extra time and penalties if needed.
Your Team
You will announce your team before you play the first match, and you will play the whole tournament with that one team - no changing. The team name can be sent to myself, and I will note them all together. Using 2 different teams in the same tournament will result in an automatic loss for the matches you use a second (or third/fourth etc.) team.
Your team will have 3 different options:
1: If you have a story running at the moment, you can use that one, unless you send me a message with a reason to why, and then I will decide.
2: If you have a save, but not with a story, that team can also be used, as long as you speak to me first.
3: If you don't have a save, you will use a team from the start. No signing or selling players. You will use the team from the first day of the save.
Entering
As the tournament requires 32 teams, the entry process will use a first come, first serve basis. If we have too many after, we may play qualifying matches, but that will be decided later.
To enter, send me a private message or chat request, and if we feel you are a regular member, we willl enter your name below with the team you will use.

More information will be released later, when the groups are released (they will be randomly generated) including when to play and any more details needed. I will try to sort out a prize for the winner of the cup, and I would happily accept any help from any moderators on the site. Just message me if you want help run the cup, as I'm sure I will need help to make this a success.
