BREAKING NEWS: Leverkusen have just announced the signing of 25 year old Greek manager, Christos King. Christos has very limited managerial experience however Leverkusen have still decided to take the manager on board. Chairman Wolfgang Holzhäuser believes King has 'a great understanding of the game and has chosen him to lead the club to new heights'. King is delighted to take the hot-seat at the club and will be making his managerial debut in Leverkusen's upcoming friendly against FC Gratkorn. King will have his first day at the training ground today, giving him a mere 10 days to prepare for his first friendly on the 7th of July.

Leverkusen have just confirmed the signing of Oliver Baumann, a German keeper previously playing for Freiburg. The price tag has not yet been confirmed, however it has been rumored around the £11,000,000 mark. Baumann will be used as a backup keeper in the forthcoming years, however he is regarded as a 'hot prospect' so will take the number 1 shirt in seasons to come.


Baumann spoke to an interviewer before departing his old club Freiburg - 'I am very pleased to have signed for such a great team, and hope i can be the best keeper at the club one day.'. Baumann went on to say 'I treat Freiburg as a club and a home and i am very sad to leave, but the future is all that matters now, and hopefully i can prosper in years to come'
