tablet incorporation with fm13

Hey guys,

Don't know if there have been any discussions like this, but has anyone considered making an app for tablets to be used as scouting tools for fm13. The reason I ask is because during a recent game in my Forest save, I came across a player I knew nothing about and it occurred to me that it would be handy if I could use my tablet to look at him whilst the game is playing.

Would such an app even be possible? Surely it'd require a copy of the games database and the same coding for FM genie scout or something similar?

Not that I know of, but would definitely be a great idea. When you find a player, google him and you can usually find out how good is he. FM Scout has a Social Scouting page, but doesn't include too many players at the moment. I agree it would be an excellent idea, but the database and coding would be an issue. So because of that, it is probably nearly impossible, or would require something amazing to get it. If it was made, it would probably have to be SI that make the app because of all that.

Surely it would open up so many more options for fm-users that have tablets or smart phones, to be able to open up a small app that tells them information about the team they're playing, possible weaknesses in their squad (found from scouting) that you could retrieve whilst in a game
