I am about to embark on an adventure with Tottenham, this is because they have a good, young squad with some quality players such as Bale and Lloris, and also because I have had successful saves with Spurs in the past. I will be updating the story monthly (game time), so I hope you enjoy it!

Tottenham are delighted to announce the signing of two new players. Firstly, nomadic striker Demba Ba has signed from Newcastle for a fee of £7,000,000 after Spurs triggered a release clause in his contract. Secondly, promising winger Nathan Redmond has signed from Birmingham in a deal thought to be worth around £4,600,000.

Spurs 3-1 Norwich
This was a solid win today for Tottenham. They went 1-0 up after Turner scored an unfortunate own goal, but two minutes later Spurs felt the same way when Sigurdsson headed the ball into his own net. However, Siggy made up for his mistake ten minutes later when he was slipped through by fellow debutee Ba, and slotted carefully passed John Ruddy. This was not enough for Tottenham, and with the game nearing its end, new signing Demba Ba happily tapped in Sandro’s parried shot to give Tottenham a comfortable opening day win. Player of the match: Sandro 8.7
Man Utd 1-2 Spurs
Tottenham secured a fantastic result on a rainy day at Old Trafford. Manchester United started brightly, and took the lead through veteran Ryan Giggs fairly early on. However, a determined Spurs side came back at them in the second half, and it paid off when Nathan Redmond capitalized on De Gea’s mistake and tapped in from inside the six yard box. The clock ticked on, and just when it looked like Spurs would claim a hard-earned draw, Rio Ferdinand tried a risky backpass which gave Demba Ba the perfect opportunity to coolly place the ball past Man Utd’s struggling Spaniard. Player of the match: Vertonghen 9.0

Busy transfer window for English clubs
In a remarkably busy transfer window, Man City pulled off the biggest money move with their capture of FC Bayern’s Müller for a fee thought to be around £35,000,000. Arsenal also broke the bank to bring in Napoli’s workhouse forward, Edinson Cavani for a fee thought to be around £30,000,000. Chelsea, not to be outdone, spent £19,500,000 on flamboyant forward Stephan Jovetic, while Man Utd’s Javier Hernandez left the country in favour of moving to PSG in a £13,500,000 deal.
Chelsea were the biggest spenders in the country, running u a total transfer bill of around £40,000,000.

Spurs 5-1 Sunderland
Tottenham simply blew Sunderland away at White Hart Lane, despite playing much of the match with only ten men. Spurs got off to a dream start when club captain Younes Kaboul firmly headed home Sigurdsson’s excellent free-kick delivery. Minutes later, Siggy whipped another delicious set piece, and this time it was Jan Vertonghen who was on hand to knock the ball past the unfortunate Sunderland keeper, Mignolet. However, things took a turn for the worse for Tottenham on the 17th minute when goalscorer Jan Vertonghen picked up his second yellow card , but they kept pressing and it paid dividends when Ba slotted home from Assou-Ekotto’s cross. Stéphane Sessegnon gave Sunderland fans a glimmer of hope when he scored shortly after half time, but this hope was snuffed out by another two goals from the excellent Demba Ba . What a signing he has been for Spurs! Player of the match: Ba 9.6
Spurs 1-0 Hapoel Tel-Aviv
Tottenham kicked off their Europa League campaign with a win against Hapoel Tel-Aviv. The match was not a classic, but Steven Caulker scored the all-important goal to give Spurs the precious 3 points. Gylfi Sigurdsson also missed a penalty in the game. Player of the match: Caulker 8.0
Liverpool 2-0 Spurs
Despite having the better of the match at Anfield today, Spurs succumbed to a 2-0 defeat thanks to late Liverpool goals from Luis Suarez and Steven Gerrard . However, Tottenham can argue that nomadic striker Demba Ba’s 24th minute goal which was questionably ruled out by Martin Atkinson should have stood. Player of the match: Skrtel 8.7 (Liverpool)
Spurs 1-1 Chelsea
Tottenham will be disappointed that for the second match running they have failed to secure a victory despite dominating the game. Gareth Bale got Tottenham off to a flyer on 10 minutes when his volley from 30 yards found the top corner of Petr Cech’s goal. Things got even better for Spurs when David Luiz was sent off for a horrendous challenge on Tottenham’s Andros Townsend. Unfortunately for the team in white however, Fernando Torres equalized for Chelsea straight after half time and despite Tottenham having all of the ball for the remainder of the match, they just could not find the way through Chelsea’s hard working defence. Player of the match: Bale 8.0
West Brom 1-2 Spurs
Spurs got back to winning ways at the Hawthorns today. Demba Ba gave his side the lead with a stunning goal from a tight angle, however shortly afterwards Kyle Naughton gave the ball away sloppily to allow Shane Long to equalize for The Albion. Substitute Gylfi Sigurdsson put Tottenham back in front though with a penalty midway through the second half, so Spurs claim a valuable victory to keep the pressure on Arsenal and Man City in the race for the Premier League title. Player of the match: Morrison 7.7 (West Brom)
